About Us

Who We Are

Joyful Pets and Homes treats each home and pet the way we want our homes and family treated. Our level of care always goes above-and-beyond, especially with those pets who are often not afforded extra attention due to trauma or medical diagnoses. We have experience with rescues and pets who have reactionary triggers, fear or anxiety, and some behavioral issues. We do not shy away from assisting those who need a little extra love.

Our biggest goal is to ensure every single animal in our care THRIVES and LOVES their days, and we'll do everything in our power to make that happen, so you can still enjoy the hours or days away from your furry loved ones, too!

Below, you'll find an introduction to our Joyful team, a list of our most proud certifications and memberships, the values we stand by, and words from some of our happy clients. We want this space to bring you peace of mind in knowing Joyful Pets and Homes is the safest and most joyous place for your pet to be when you're away. We can't wait to meet you and your pets!

Rebecca Fost

Rebecca’s venture into pet care, dog walking, and house sitting commenced with a charming Cocker Spaniel named Molly, residing just down her street. Molly’s owners entrusted Rebecca with her care while away from home. The sheer delight on Molly's face and her playful bottom wiggles upon Rebecca's arrival sparked a fervor for animal care that would help ignite the passion to build an upscale pet care company. Her journey unfolded amidst treasured animals, a profound love for nature, and a multitude of adorable furry friends. Through these experiences, she discovered the influence animals and the natural world wield on our well-being.

Confronting autoimmune diseases and autonomic disorders, Rebecca sought solace and healing in the company of animals and the beauty of the outdoors. Transitioning from her career in art, art history, and education, she recognized the crucial need to carve a new life path, given the health challenges she faces. Joyful Pets and Homes serves as the conduit to share Molly's boundless excitement, extending that same joy and care to pets in Green Valley and Sahuarita.

The company's name, inspired by Rebecca’s middle name, Joy, embodies the feelings experienced by both our furry friends and the dedicated staff. Rebecca envisions Joyful Pets and Homes, LLC as the foremost provider of upscale and customizable pet care in Green Valley and Sahuarita. Voted the "Best In-Home Pet Care Business" by the Green Valley Sun’s readership in 2022, the title reflects our commitment to exceptional and tailored pet care. Our mission prioritizes pet and staff health & safety as our paramount concern, delivering luxury pet care while integrating sustainable and eco-friendly practices and products whenever possible. We aim to ensure that every pet receives the highest standard of personalized care, love, and attention with Joyful Pets and Homes, LLC

We pride ourselves on having the flexibility to personalize your pet and home care services to a tee! After all, every home, pet, and client has different needs. We're here to meet you where you're at and go above and beyond from there.

Joy

Your pets' days should be joyous, and we do everything in our power to make that happen. Whether your pup loves play, cuddles, alone time, or all of the above - we've got it covered.

Happy Clients

We have been entrusting our dog to Joyful Pets and Homes for more than 5 years now. They take exceptional care of our Cody by giving him lots of attention and love while we are away. They are very mindful of his issues and she is his favorite person! They thoroughly support our need to give him a special diet and are willing and able to execute our instructions for his feeding schedule and food. They even bring treats that they know he can have because he has kidney disease and they care so much! He seems to have loved them from the first sitting appointment.

Joyful Pets and Homes makes us feel totally relaxed that we are leaving our old baby with them  for vacations and trips that come up, and they are so loving and very capable with him. We come home to a clean home and happy dog!  We full heartedly recommend their services and they are always our choice to take care of Cody!
